The above-mentioned court acts satisfied the declaration of CJSC “Universal Music” and the decision of the tax body was acknowledged as invalid in full.

In its resolution of 11.09.2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow of 29.12.2006 and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court of 05.04.2007 that acknowledged as invalid the decision of the District Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service on large taxpayers № 2 of 23.12.2005 concerning a bringing to book on charges of tax violations.

In hearings that took place on 02.08.2007 – 09.08.2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Povolzhsky Circuit (hereinafter – FAC PC) considered the cassational complaints filed by CJSC “Neftekhimiya” disputing the Resolutions of the Eleventh Arbitration Appeals Court of 18.05.2007 on case № A55-19814/2006, of 22.05.2007 on case № A55-19815/2006, and also on case № A55-19813 and dismissed the complaints. The FAC PC thereby confirmed the legality of the decisions and prescriptions of the Administration of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the Samara Region (hereinafter – AFAS), directed toward removing abuse of the dominating position of CJSC “Neftekhimiya” and protecting LLC “Samaraorgsintez.”

The Law firm “YUST” acted as a consultant to the main owners and the management of the “Volga-Dnepr” Group of Companies in a transaction concerning the acquisition of shares in the charter capital of this air carrier from a number of minority shareholders.

By its resolution of 13 June 2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of Moscow of 21 December 2005 and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court of 2 March 2007, by which the courts acknowledged as invalid the demand by the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service № 48 for Moscow concerning payment of tax № 6772.

In its resolution of 25 May 2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow of 23 November 2006 and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court of 16 February 2007, by which the courts acknowledged as illegal the inaction of the MIFNS № 48 for the City of Moscow, expressed in the failure to conduct an offset of excessive tax on advertising, and ordered the Inspectorate to offset the excess tax paid.

The advocates of the Law firm “YUST” participated in an international conference on sport law, organized with the support of the Moscow State Academy of Law, the Russian Football Union, the Olympic Committee of Russia, the Committee of the Federal Council on Youth and Sport, the Russian Association of Labor Law and Social Welfare, and the Association of Sport Law of Russia.

In its resolution of 19.06.2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow of 28.12.2006 and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court of 09.03.2007, that acknowledged as invalid the decision of the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia №28 for the City of Moscow of 24.07.2006 № 387, concerning the refusal to impose tax liability for a tax violation.
