Advocates and lawyers of the Law Firm "YUST" successfully defended the rights and legal interests of a national of Great Britain in a court dispute on divorce and severance.

The wife of an English gentleman, a citizen of the Russian Federation, foreseeing the inevitable divorce with her English husband, attempted to beforehand separate the property located in the territory of the Russian Federation, which had been purchased during their marriage, from the common property of the spouses by way of a series of dubious deals. After that, she, conscious of the fact that her spouse had been living in the territory of another state for a long time already, initiated at the Justice of Peace (in the territory of the Russian Federation) the process of divorce and exaction of alimonies for their common underage children.

When the husband accidentally learned of the proceedings, he requested the Law Firm "YUST" to render legal assistance, to represent his interests in court and to transfer the proceedings to the jurisdiction of Great Britain.

The advocates were able to stop the dishonest actions of the wife, to secure the transfer of the case by jurisdiction to the district court with the merger of the demands of divorce, of alimony and of severance within a single proceedings, to suspend the registration of the transfer of the property right to a number of immovable property objects, to contest dubious deals. As a result of concerted actions made by the advocates and associates of the Firm, the wife was forced to accept the husband’s conditions and to agree to submit the case for consideration by an English court.
