Extrajudicial settlement of an employment dispute between the representative office of a foreign company and one of its top managers

Consulting and participation in negotiations with the employer – a Swiss representative office in Russia – on the matters of termination of an employment contract with one of the company top managers. Psychological environment of the negotiations was the peculiarity of the project. An agreement on termination of the employment contract favorable for the employee was executed.

Said project is interesting in the following way: compromises had to be found on a wide variety of matters arising out of employment and other related relations between the top manager of the foreign company representative office and the executive of the head office of said foreign company, and it had to be done relatively quickly. The influence of the Swiss law over HR decisions in Russia and peculiarities of the employment contract terms were yet another factor.
