Seminar "Risks of international tax planning in conditions of financial transparency and intercountry exchange of information"

On March 1 and 2, 2018, the Russian Foundation for Educational Programs "Economics and Management" conducted a seminar on "Risks of International Tax Planning in the Conditions of Financial Transparency and Intercountry Information Exchange." Practical Aspects of Implementation of the Law on Controlled Foreign Companies.

The event was intended for specialists of planning and economic departments, tax lawyers, financial directors and chief accountants of enterprises.

On the second day of the seminar Maxim Rovinskiy, Partner, Attorney-at-law, Head of the practice of tax and customs law of the "YUST" Law Firm spoke on the "Strategy and tactics of making tax decisions under conditions of de-fhosting. Tax and other consequences of voluntary declaration of assets and accounts. Arbitration practice and "landmark cases."

In his speech, Maxim Rovinskiy touched on the procedure for calculating the profits of controlled foreign companies and filling out the notice, told about the practice of declaring incomes of controlled foreign companies, examined problematic issues in calculating the profit of the CEC, and also dwelt on the specifics of preparing notices for legal entities with a complex ownership structure.
