On 10 April 2006, the Arbitration Court of the Samara Region dismissed the claim filed by the Regional Prosecutor against OJSC “Aviakompaniya “Samara” calling for the acknowledgement of the agreement on the joining OJSC “Aviakompaniya “Aerovolga” with OJSC “Aviakompaniya “Samara” as invalid (void), and the application of the consequences of an invalid (void) transaction.

The Judicial Division on civil matters of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dismissed the cassational submission of the prosecutor of the Sakhalin Region against the decision of the Sakhalin Regional Court of 26.10.2005.

On 29 March 2006, attorneys of the Bar Association of the Moscow Region “Law firm “YUST” met with Judge Galina Alexeyevna Karpova, who chairs the court body on taxation disputes in the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow. The meeting was organized by the Federal Chamber of Advocates of Russia as part of the Chamber’s program for raising the qualifications of Russian lawyers.

On 22 March 2006, the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow dismissed the claim filed by a shareholder of OJSC “DAR” against OJSC “DAR” and LLC “Kopeyka Development” calling for the acknowledgement of a property purchase-sale agreement between those two companies as invalid.

By an edict of 29 September 2005, His Royal Highness King Albert II of Belgium awarded the ORDER OF LEOPOLD II to Andrei Gennadievich LISITSYN-SVETLANOV, partner and attorney of the Law form “YUST”.

On 18 March 2006, by an Order of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, senior partner of the law firm “YUST” and Director of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor and Doctor of Legal Sciences Andrei Gennadievich LISITSYN-SVETLANOV, was awarded the ORDER OF FRIENDSHIP for his achievements and lengthy, conscientious endeavor.

On 17 March 2006, attorneys I.V. Kondrashov and A.M. Kotova-Smolenskaya represented the Bar Association of the Moscow region “Law firm “YUST” at the duly scheduled accounting conference of Moscow Region attorneys, an annual event held in accordance with p.1 art. 30 of the Federal Law “On advocate activity and advocacy in the Russian Federation.”

The Determination of the Presidium of the Court of the Moscow Region of 15 February 2006 acknowledged as illegal the annulment of the passport of a means of transport, issued to the previous owner, insofar as the current owner of the motor car was not included in the proceedings on the matter.

In its resolution of 2 March 2006, the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court revoked the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow of 27 December 2005, and dismissed the submission filed by OJSC “DAR” for a review of the earlier ruling on the matter in view of the emergence of new circumstances.
