Alfa-Bank has filed claims for the bankruptcy of DVI Group structures

DVI Group’s total debt to Alfa Bank is $260 million, and several creditors filed claims to rule its structures insolvent. The courts are currently considering the bankruptcy requests filed by 10 companies – borrowers and sureties – that own assets of DVI Group pledged to Alfa Bank.
Alexander Bolomatov, Partner of the Law Firm “YUST”, explained to the Vedomosti newspaper that, should the companies be ruled bankrupt, their property must be offered for public auctions after its valuation and the setting of the initial selling value by the court; and if nobody wishes to purchase them, the pledgee has the right to keep the property.
