Andrey Lisitsyn-Svetlanov, Senior Partner at the Law Firm “YUST”, has taken part in the fourth annual IP Conference

Mr. Fernando M. Valenzuela, Head of the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation, held the opening speech.

Partners and lawyers at large Russian and foreign companies, representatives of state and judicial authorities spoke on the topical IP problems. The speakers touched upon the following issues: the practice of the High Court of Arbitration regarding IP matters, improvement concept for Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, protection of intellectual rights in the Internet in Russia and abroad, latest trends of the patent disputes’ consideration by the courts, Customs Union creation-related IP protection problems, practical aspects of protection of the foreign companies’ IP in Russia.
