While insurance companies are trying to fight against traffic lawyers and complaining about them to the Central Bank, they are not wasting their time. Now complaints against insurance companies can be filed automatically using a smartphone. Since mid-May this service is accessible in the Telegram messenger with the help of a traffic lawyer bot AutoLawyerBot. The author of this application is a lawyer specializing in protecting rights of car owners who have suffered from the actions of insurance agents. According to the author, the idea of a legal bot is to provide car owners with a mechanism of protecting their interests even in case of insignificant violations.
Partner of YUST Law Firm Alexander Bolomatov analyzed the text of the complaint made by AutoLawyerBot and shared his opinion with RBK newspaper: “Any automatization is good, and I think the bot is worth using, and besides, the documents are drafted correctly.”
The difference between AutoLawyerBot and other services is that it is free of charge and a smartphone is enough for using it. However, currently it allows to file only one type of complaints against the insurance company - an incorrectly determined bonus-malus factor for compulsory third party car insurance.
