Changes in the staff of the Law Firm "YUST"

Advocate Arthur Rokhlin, who has been Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" since 2005, terminated his advocate’s practice in the Firm for personal reasons.

He came to the Law Firm "YUST" in 2000 and participated most actively in the development of the Corporate Law Practice and the forming of the Antitrust Law Group, which is currently acknowledged as one of the strongest teams in the sphere in the Russian market of legal services.

Election of Partners, Advocates Artem Kukin and Alexey Popov to Senior Partners of the Firm is the other change in the staff of YUST.

Artem Kukin was born in Moscow in 1973. He graduated from the faculty of law of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University and came to YUST in 1996. A.Kukin took a course in the Law School of the Columbia University (New York, USA). He was elected Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" in 2001 and obtained Advocate’s status in 2002. A.Kukin was awarded the medal “For merits in the protection of the citizens’ rights and liberties”. He defended his Doctor-at-Law thesis in 2004. Since 2009, he has been included by Best Lawyers international rating among the best Russian specialists of Arbitration and Mediation and Dispute Settlement each year. Since 2007, Legal Experts EMEA has recommended him as an expert on corporate law and M&A transactions as well as on dispute settlement. Lawyer Monthly magazine included him in the list of the leading lawyers of 2011.

Алексей Попов was born in Moscow in 1973. He graduated from the faculty of law of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1996 and came to YUST in 1994. A.Popov took a course at the Faculty of Law of the Regensburg University (Germany) and obtained Advocate’s status in 1998, becoming Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" in 1999. He was awarded the medal “For merits in the protection of the citizens’ rights and liberties” in 2003. Since 2007, Legal Experts EMEA has recommended him as an expert on tax law matters. He is included by Best Lawyers international rating among the best Russian specialists of Arbitration and Mediation and Dispute Settlement. He was included in the Experts’ Council of the Non-Commercial Partnership “Public-Private Partnership development Center” in September of 2013.
