D.Medvedev approved the creation of the Kamchatka ADA

Alexander Bolomatov, Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", commented for Rg.ru on the importance of creation of an accelerated development area in Kamchatka and told why Korean investors show much interest in investing into Russian economy. "A foreign company has recently requested to open a repoffice not in Moscow or in Saint Petersburg but in the Eastern Siberian city of Irkutsk. This is a sign that investors are considering the possibilities to develop business closer to their own borders, with the time (no time difference) and territorial (2 or 3 hours of flight, not 10) characteristics they are accustomed to. The Far East has much to offer: territory, workforce, commercial opportunities, a market of goods and services. There are no sanctions in Korea, in China, in Vietnam – production in those countries or in the Russian territory with the use of investments and technologies from them will allow successful implementation of joint projects, especially in the sphere of agriculture or petrochemical area".
