Fight for the treasure island. The cheated clients of the Cyprus banks from Russia are still trying to get their money back

An organization of cheated clients of Cyprus banks is being created in Russia. Its members will fight for the right to manage the Bank of Cyprus, to the assets of which their deposits were forcefully “packed” after the confiscation reform of 2013, and for the recovery of a portion of their own funds. This will be an NCO, which is currently undergoing registration: the State is no hurry to help its citizens.

Advocate Alexander Bolomatov, Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", says: “A portion of the funds has currently been recovered or transformed into understandable deposits. The problem has been largely defused. However, since a large amount of funds of various interested entities is still “stuck” in the bank, active efforts will continue”.
