MULTILAW Conference: best technologies of dispute resolution and new ideas for legal business

The annual conference of the International Association of Independent Law Firms “MULTILAW” was held in London on 13-16 October 2011. Over 125 representatives of MULTILAW member firms from all over the world were present at this year’s event. Partner at the Law Firm "YUST", Advocate Artem Kukin and Associate Partner at the Firm Evgeny Zhilin represented the Firm.

Work meetings were organized during the week according to the regions and legal specialization of the participants, who were able to discuss:

• World and regional trends of conducting legal business;
• Modern practice of legal support of large transactions, including real estate transactions;
• Technologies of labour, tax and other dispute resolution applied in different countries (regions);
• Peculiarities of intellectual property protection.

The discussion of peculiarities of the court proceedings in different countries was particularly vivid.

Elections to the management of MULTILAW were held by the end of the conference. Partner at the Firm, Advocate Artem Kukin became a member of the Executive Board of the Association.
