The last day to file declarations of individual income tax for the 2015 in local tax offices is May 4, but this deadline is compulsory not for everyone. According to the law, the people who should report their income for the previous year to the tax administration are first of all those who sold or leased any property, won the lottery or games of chance, or received expensive gifts, as well as notaries and attorneys in private practice and private entrepreneurs.
"The declaration should be filed in case of receiving consideration for services provided to an individual or foreign organization which is not a tax agent, as well as receiving income from disposition of property rights (such as sale of a company share or intellectual property rights) – Alexey Prokhorov, senior lawyer of the tax and customs law practice of YUST Law Firm told Vedomosti newspaper.
