Representatives of the Law firm "YUST" took part in a round table on “Problems of legislative and financial support of development of sports for children and youth in the Russian Federation and their solutions”, organized by the Committee for Physical Tra

On 4 December 2008, in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation there was held the round table on topical issues of sports for children and youth, as well as on issues of sports for school pupils and students.

M.A Prokopets, senior lawyer of the Law firm "YUST", took part in the round table by invitation of A.T. Sikharulidze, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who had organized the round table.

Among the others, I.K. Rodnina, a member of the Council on Physical Training and Sports at the President of the Russian Federation, S.S. Zhurova and S.V. Khorkina, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and other lawyers and experts in sports for children and youth took part in the work of the round table.

In view of the results of the work of the round table, the participants accepted a resolution to prepare and send to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, to the Government of the Russian Federation, and to the Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation recommendations on solution of legal and financial problems of sports for children and youth.
