The conditions of doing business have been changing rapidly over the last few months. Banks threaten the companies with higher credit rates, and contractors – with higher prices. And does one really need to say anything about foreign partners? The prices on their products grow daily due to Euro and dollar. However, a company can minimize the risks and protect its interests.

Currency growth is the most acute subject today. The goods priced in dollar and Euro become more expensive. But the risks can be mitigated if the agreements with foreign contractors are executed correctly <...>

The agreement with the foreign supplier may be executed in roubles. And even the currency of an ongoing contract may be changed. Sergey Kolesnikov, Associate of the Law Firm "YUST", says: “An ancillary agreement to the contract may be signed, where the foreign currency is replaced by roubles and the numerical indicator recalculated. The respective amendments will have to be made to passport of the deal in the bank”.
