The Hague Court against Russia: whose property abroad may be seized, and to protect oneself

Alexander Bolomatov, Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", together with the Pravo.ru portal assessed the chances to keep the foreign assets of the Russian state-owned companies: “Rather few assets are directly owned by Russia. In particular, the property of various FSUVs may be seized, for example – military aircraft or paintings, which are fully state-owned. However, the seizures by themselves are not the main problem. The interminable disputes and judicial proceedings with uncertain results, which they give rise to, are”.
