The Law Firm "YUST" expands its geographic potential

On October 11-12, a meeting of the representatives of member firms of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide of the European, Asian and Middle Eastern countries was held in the city of Istanbul (Turkey). The lawyers exchanged work experience and discussed future cooperation.

Evgeny Zhilin and Anna Kotova-Smolenskaya, Associated Partners of the Law Firm "YUST", told the colleagues about the Firm’s foreign projects experience and its active work in the sphere of tax, corporate, antitrust disputes. The information of the Firm’s practice in the area of sports law and legal support of art business was also of interest to the meeting members.

The representatives of the Firm made suggestions regarding the complete legal support of foreign clients in the territory of the Russian Federation, which were welcomed by the meeting members.

E.Zhilin pointed out that YUST’s integration in Meritas was mutually profitable. He said: “Meritas members will be able to receive qualified legal assistance, when operating in Russia and the CIS, and YUST will expand its geographic potential”.

Meritas currently includes 179 law firms of 78 countries, 38 of which – in Europe. There are member firms in each of the 50 United States and of the 10 provinces of Canada.
