Experts point out that the changes are beneficial for both parties. The tax officers will be able to remove the debtor companies from the USRLE, and the amounts of their bad debts will not distort the picture of the future proceeds to the budget. Ekaterina Boldinova, Senior Associate of the Law Firm "YUST", believes: “At the same time, small companies that have actually stopped their operations will be freed from the need to prove their insolvency in courts”.
Experts insist that active organizations will hardly notice any difference. Ekaterina Boldinova is convinced: “The planned changes will not matter to most companies that conduct business as usual. The amendments to the TCRF will only affect those organizations, which only exist on paper and have long since stopped their activity”.
