What advertising is acceptable at the Russian stadiums

The round table “What advertising is acceptable at the Russian stadiums?” dedicated to the amendments to the Law “On advertising” and Article 16 of the Law “On physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation” concerning the advertising of beer and beer-based beverages during major international sports events was held at the press center of the “Parlamentskaya Gazeta” newspaper on February 21 of 2013. The draft law suggests that the advertising of beer may reappear in some form at the stadiums during major sports competitions.

Raziet Nat’ho, member of the State Duma Committee on health, Mikhail Prokopets, Head of the Sports Law Group of the Law Firm "YUST", Sergey Priadkin, President of the Russian Football Premier League, and Andrey Malosolov, a football expert, head of “Fan Zone” program and former spokesman to the RFU, took part in the discussion. Mikhail Prokopets answered the questions of the anchor person regarding the legal aspect of the amendments and told of the Russian and European practice of sponsoring sports events by breweries.
