New game rules for business. Identification of beneficiaries, liability of controlling persons, “de-offshorization”.

03.12.2013

The Institute of development of modern education technologies organizes on December 3 of 2013 a conference “New game rules for business”.

The Federal Law No. 134-FZ dated June 26 of 2013 does not only regulate the methods of combating illegal financial operations. The law also makes amendments to numerous legal acts on disclosing beneficiaries, liability of controlling persons and other consequences of economic dependence of economy subjects.

The norms on affiliation and liability of controlling persons are the known stumbling block for the adoption of systemic changes to part 1 of the Civil Code of Russia.

The application of the new Tax Code provisions on control over the transfer pricing during one year and a half caused many practical questions. The active position of the President and the Government of our country to bring business back to Russia demands that businessmen understand the perspectives of development.

These and other questions will be discussed during the Conference. The audience will receive answers to topical questions and be able to lay plans for achieving strategic tasks.

Main subjects of the Conference:

  • Beneficiaries;
  • Liability of controlling persons;
  • “De-offshorization” of the business;
  • New powers of the tax authorities and liabilities of the taxpayers.

Advocate Maxim Rovinskiy, Head of the Tax and Customs Law Practice, will represent the Law Firm "YUST" at the event.

He will tell, within the framework of the discussion platform “Tax consequences of corporate control”, in what cases members of a group of companies are brought to perform tax duties for each other.

Date: December 3 of 2013.

Location: Moscow, Cosmos Hotel, Mira Avenue, 150.
