Advocate of the Law firm “YUST” was awarded the “Femida (Themis)” prize.

During a gala ceremony that took place on 16 February 2008 in the building of the Moscow theatre “New Opera”, winners of the Major juridical award of Russia were proclaimed, among them - Igor Pastukhov, Advocate of the Law firm “YUST (in the category “Law and Economics”).

Also, the major juridical award of Russia “Femida (Themis)” (in the category “Lawmaking”) was handed to Vladimir Pligin, Chairman of the Committee for Constitutional Legislation and State Development of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in the past – Managing Partner of the Law firm “YUST”, advocate.

The “Femida (Themis)” award is annually handed to Russian and foreign lawyers, state and public figures as well as to legal entities, public organizations and creative associations of the Russian Federation and other countries for their contribution to the development of institutions of the constitutional state and civil society.

The participants of the gala ceremony were: S.V. Stepashin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Russia, V.M. Platonov, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma, V.F. Yakovlev, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, and other state and public figures.
