On 26.10. 2005, the Supreme Court of the RF considered a civil case lodged by G.N. Seleznev, a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF, disputing the decision of the body of state power – the Resolution of the State Duma of the Federal Asembly of the RF of 25 May 2005 No.1894-IV GD - pursuant to which deputy G.N. Seleznev was released from the post of deputy co-chairman of the Inter-parliamentary Group of the RF.

The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF was represented in the Supreme Court by attorney Yu.S. Pilipenko, the President of the Bar Association of the Moscow Region, law firm “YUST”.

In its decision of 26.10.2005, the Supreme Court dismissed the complaint filed by deputy G.N. Seleznev of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the RF.
