The Prosecutor asked the court to sentence to 7 years in penal colony Dmitrii Aments, the former Deputy Minister of culture, former Deputy Head of the Federal tourism Agency and the businessman, accused of complicity in the misappropriation of funds of International Industrial Bank in especially large size, reports the correspondent of RAPSI from the hall of the Tver district court of Moscow. As previously reported, Amunts gave testimony that all his management powers as the sole Executive body, including the disposition of the funds of the OPK Development company, were significantly limited by the company legislation and internal regulations of the company. The defendant categorically denies his guilt in committing a crime. 

Andrei Orlov, advocate of YUST Law Firm, told RAPSI news agency that in the process of interrogation Dmitirii Amunts re-stated the fact, that that his confession during the preliminary investigation was given under pressure of the investigator with the promise to replace the measure of restraint with house arrest.
