The advocates and attorneys of the Law firm “YUST” attended a meeting with Merited Lawyer of Russia and former Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow, Alla Bolshova.

The advocates and attorneys of the Law firm “YUST” attended a meeting with Merited Lawyer of Russia and former Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow, Alla Bolshova. This meeting was organized by the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the meeting were granted the opportunity of discussing with A. Bolshova issues concerning the application of the Arbitration Procedural Code of the Russian Federation by arbitration courts, and also the practice of arbitration courts of the Russian Federation on various categories of cases.

In the course of the meeting, A. Bolshova noted the growing significance of out-of-court settlements of disputes between legal entities, including the participation of professional mediators (the legal concept of “mediation”). Among matters discussed at the meeting were problems arising in connection with partial appeals against arbitration court rulings within the framework of the appeals procedure, problems with the determination of the composition of persons involved in a case at the stage of appeals procedure upon the revocation of rulings by courts, problems connected with convincing the parties of the reasonable nature of court costs for the payment of services of representatives and other current issues of application of the law.
