YUST Law Firm successfully completed the legal support of the preliminary stage of
“Gazprom” plans to build a gas plant in the Leningrad region, combined with gas chemical production. The partner of the project will be "Rusgazdobycha" JSC.
The capacity of the production complex, which is supposed to be planted in the Ust-Luga District of Leningrad Oblast, will be up to 45 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The project is estimated at USD 20 billion. Gas purification from impurities will be performed at the gas plant. The resulting methane will be delivered for liquefaction to “Baltic LNG”. It is expected that a part of the received gas will be exported along the “Nord Stream- 2” line. In case of realization of the project it can become the second at cost among all investment of Gazprom after the gas pipeline "Power of Siberia" (USD 55billion, according to 2014 estimates).
Associated partners of the YUST Law Firm Roman Cherlenyak and Alexander Rudyakov supported "Rusgazdobycha" JSC in the preparation of a set of documents establishing terms and conditions of interaction of the parties on the project, determining appropriate corporate structure, assets transfer and on other issues.
