Easements over land plots: new rules of establishing

Ekaterina Motyvan, Senior Associate of the Law Firm “YUST”, and Maria Sovakova, Associate of the Firm, prepared an article for the information and analytical bulletin on real estate issues “RWAY”. The article deals with the changes that have affected such important aspects as the grounds and the procedure for establishing easements and paying for easement.
When the federal laws No. 171-FZ dated June 23 of 2014 (entered into force on March 1st of 2015) and No. 499-FZ dated December 31 of 2014 (entered into force on April 1st of 2015) were adopted within the framework of the reforms of the civil and land legislation of the Russian Federation, significant changes were made to the regulation of the matters of establishing easements over land plots.
