Vladimir Putin in his annual address to the Federal Assembly on December 12 of 2013 pointed out the necessity to reform the private arbitration system in the Russian Federation.
Following the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Justice of Russia prepared a draft of the federal law “On private arbitration courts and arbitration (private) in the Russian Federation” and submitted it for public discussion on January 17 of 2014.
