The FAS improved its qualification
Education events of improving qualification in the sphere of competition law for the employees of the Federal Antimonopoly Service were held at the Oleg Kutafin Moscow State University of Law (MSAL) from November 9 till November 13 of 2015.
Dmitry Seregin, Senior Lecturer of the Competition Law Chair of the MSAL, Doctor-at-Law, Adviser to the Law Firm “YUST”, delivered a lecture on the basic issues of competition law. The lecture dealt with the notions of competition and commodity market, the definition of the borders of the commodity market, the term of subjects of competition law (including the group of persons and the procedure for its forming), position of dominance and its criteria, and legal consequences of ascertaining of the position of dominance.
Besides, Dmitry Seregin also held a practice lesson, within the framework of which the issues of protection from dishonest competition in the light of the changes introduced by the Fourth antimonopoly package were studied in detail.
