Advocate Vasily Raudin of the Law Firm "YUST" held a webinar on the subject “Positions of the HCA and the SC of Russia on the matters of bankruptcy”

Advocate Vasily Raudin, Head of the Bankruptcy Group of the Law Firm "YUST", held an author’s webinar on the subject “Positions of the HCA and the SC of Russia on the matters of bankruptcy: examples of literal interpretation of the law an d actual law-making” on December 19. The webinar was organized by the Corporate Lawyer magazine.

V.Raduin, speaking in the course of the webinar, raised the matters of expansion of the range of the debtor’s deals contestation subjects, of the alternatives to the contestation of the debtor’s deals in the course of the bankruptcy and the distribution of the burden of proof in contestation of the debtor’s deals.

The Head of the Bankruptcy Group of YUST also told about the judges’ discretion in the course of the trial on the claims to rule the deals invalid, about that facts that prove that the creditor was aware of the debtor’s insolvency, and on the notion of moratorium interest. Besides, V.Raduin spoke in the course of the webinar on the possibility to include a creditor’s claim to the debtor’s claim list after it has been closed.
