Corporate lawyers’ Forum “100 steps forward: business and the State”

Corporate lawyers’ Forum “100 steps forward: business and the State” will be held on October 3-4 at the RIA “Novosti” International Press Center with the participation of the Russia Agency of Legal and Judicial Information (RAPSI) and the Corporate Lawyer magazine.

Legal consequences of Russia’s entry into the WTO, peculiarities of Russian tax policy for the coming two years, issues of managing tax risks and legal aspects of activity of the corporations, which increase Russia’s investment attractiveness, will be the Forum’s subject.

The Forum organizers’ main goal is to create a venue for an open dialogue, resolution of topical problems, which impede the development of business in Russia.

Oleg Yefrosinin, Editor-in-Chief of RAPSI, said: “Many representatives of business and state authorities have repeatedly mentioned the necessity to hold such an event”. He noted that “the economic processes, which are currently taking place in Russia and in the world, set new tasks, which all interested parties should discuss”.

Nikolay Fedoseenkov, Chief of the Corporate Lawyer magazine declared: “We are sure that this venue will further propel business and the State along the way of development of mutually beneficial partnership relations”.

Over 150 top officials of ministries and organizations, heads of legal departments of large Russian state and commercial structures will discuss the matters of legal protection of business in Russia.

Corporate lawyers, vice-presidents of legal matters of companies, of various business sectors, will take part in the event.
