Dmitry Seregin, Adviser of the Law Firm "YUST", took part in a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission in the city of Almaty on April 3rd.
The meeting’s subject was “Protection of competition in the trans-border markets of the EAEU”. D.Seregin delivered a report on the current status and the trends of development of the practice of protection from dishonest competition in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In addition, the meeting also dealt with the matters of prevention of dishonest competition, anti-competition agreements and coordination of economic activity of economy subjects, as well as abuse of domination. Special attention was given to the issues of competition in the foodstuff industry area and protection of intellectual property.
