Important changes to the Russian legislation in 2014

The event was held in Moscow on January 30 of 2014 by the Russian-German Chamber of External Commerce. The event was attended by heads of ventures, representatives of Russian subsidiaries, financial directors, in-house lawyers, advocates. Partner, Head of the Tax and Customs Law Section of the Law Firm "YUST" Maxim Rovinskiy and Advocate Erika Kindsvater represented the Firm.

· The term “end beneficiary”;

· The Federal Laws of the Russian Federation Nos. 282-FZ dated 29.12.2012 and 306-FZ dated 02.11.2013;

· The sphere of application of the new rules of taxation of Russian dividends;

· Withholding the tax from Russian dividends.

In the course of the event, the Committee’s experts told about the most significant changes of the legal regulation in various spheres: from important structural reforms (merger of the Higher Court of Arbitration and the Supreme Court of Russia) to the special provisions affecting the top management of foreign companies in Russia (implementation of special control over the realty transactions with the participation of foreign citizens).
