Influence of changes to the Civil Code over the M&A transactions. Will it facilitate the use of Russian law?

The “Mergers and Acquisitions” magazine organizes the practical seminar “Influence of changes to the Civil Code over the M&A transactions. Will it facilitate the use of Russian law?” on June 5 of 2013.

For many lawyers, businessmen and investors, the subject of changes to the Civil Code of Russia, which are adopted or prepared for adoption, is one of the most topical ones.

The suggested changes to the CCRF are aimed at the expansion of the commercial structures’ rights to formalize business covenants and at the increase of stability and protection of relations in various spheres of investment activity. Approximately 90% of transactions are currently executed outside the Russian jurisdiction.

A speech by Evgeny Zhilin, Associated Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", is scheduled as a part of the discussion.
