Lawyers and information technologies: status quo or transformation

The Russian Federal Chamber of Lawyers (FPA) together with “Microsoft” held a round table devoted to the transformation of the legal profession in the era of new technologies and their use in the work of lawyers.  The topics of information technologies and the evolution of the legal profession, automation and technological solutions in the work of the legal department and in the legal business, information security and risks in the work of law firms were discussed.  The event aroused great interest and an active discussion.  Following its results, it was decided to continue a series of thematic meetings at the FPA.
