Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" Anna Kotova-Smolenskaya took part on March 17 in the legal debates within the framework of the Second Infrastructure Congress “Russian Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Week”.

A.Kotova-Smolenskaya dedicated her speech to the matters of the legal regulation and implementation of public-private partnership projects of creation of new technologies.

Investing into technological development (development of medicine, bio-technologies, energy, information technologies) is seen as a priority in the whole world. Moreover, such projects are an efficient anti-crisis measure, which has been proven time and again.

The Strategy of Innovational Development of Russia until 2020 names creation of highly technological and competitive products as one of the main tasks of development of the economy.

The Congress was held in Moscow on March 17 - 20.

The Russian PPP Week is held for the purpose of demonstrating the best practices of implementation of PPP projects in various infrastructure sectors and aiming at their further multiplying in the constituent territories of the Russian Federation. The Center for PPP Development is the organizer of the PPP Week, with support from the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. The Agency of Strategic Initiatives, the Russian Fund of Dire4ct Investments, Gazprombank et al. are general partners.

The first Infrastructure Congress “Russian Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Week” was held in Moscow in March of 2014. Representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, of the Ministry of Health of Russia, of the Ministry of Labor of Russia, of the Government of Moscow as well as experts from the leading Russian and foreign financial institutions, consulting companies and business structures took part in the Congress’s program. Over 1500 persons participated in the events of the Russian PPP Week – 2014. 18 discussion venues were organized. Dozens of business negotiations took place and new acquaintances were established. Over 80 media workers covered the events of the PPP Week.
