Partners of the Law Firm "YUST" had a meeting with the delegation of the Japanese Federation of Bar Associations

The Partners of the Law Firm "YUST" had a meeting with the delegation of the Japanese Federation of Bar Associations within the framework of the meeting of the Council of the Federal Chamber of Advocates (FCA) of Russia in Saint Petersburg.

The Russian party to the event was represented by Yury Pilipenko, Senior Partner of the Firm, Evgeny Zhilin, Managing Partner of the Firm, Alexander Bolomatov, Partner of the Firm, and Vasily Raudin, Head of the Bankruptcy Group. Evgeny Semeyako, Head of the FCA, chaired the meeting. The Japanese delegation included Riota Yamagishi, former Vice-President of the Japanese Federation of Bar Associations, Chiharu Takeuchi, head of the International section of the Japanese Federation of Bar Associations, and others.

The representatives of the legal society discussed the possibility to execute an agreement of international cooperation between the FCAs of Russia and of Japan. The parties concluded that they could supply each other with information, advice and contacts to further a more efficient performance of the Bar Associations.  The parties also discussed the possibility to conduct joint meetings in Japan or Russia in order to exchange knowledge and to increase mutual understanding between the members of the associations.

The FCA meeting was also timed to the celebration of the 150^th anniversary of the Russian Bar and to the IV International Law Forum of Saint Petersburg, which is to take place on June 18-21. The Partners of the Law Firm "YUST" will also be guests of honor of the forum.
