Partners of the Law Firm "YUST" took part in the international conference “Managing a law firm”

Senior Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" Yury Pilipenko and Managing Partner Evgeny Zhilin took part in the IBA International Conference “Managing a law firm” on November 28 of 2014.

Yury Pilipenko spoke at the plenary session “Year 2015: business as usual?”. The session discussed the questions on what legal business will look like in 2015 in the light of the latest geopolitical and economic trends. Also how sanctions will affect the legal services market and whether law firms are ready for “modern challenges”.

Evgeny Zhilin, being as he is a representative of young managing partners, spoke at the session “To replace the irreplaceables: change of management of a law firm”. The mechanisms of ensuring continuity and transfer of control fr om the viewpoint of a senior partner was studied here.

The annual IBA conference “Managing a law firm” is a unique venue for discussion of problems of legal business, wh ere lawyers from many countries meet.
