25-26 March 2014 in Berlin hosted a round table on the theme «attorney's fees in Germany and the Russian Federation».
Law firm «YUST» at the event was represented by its senior partner, lawyer, first Vice-President of the Federal chamber of lawyers of the Russian Federation, Dun Yury Pilipenko, managing partner, attorney Evgeny Zhilin, associate Maxim Mezentsev.
The event was attended by representatives of the Federal chamber of advocates of Germany and the Russian Federation, and the Federal Ministry of justice of Germany and the German Foundation for international legal cooperation. The main topics of discussion was the legal regulation of the attorneys ' fees, «success fee» as one method of calculating remuneration of the lawyer, the implementation and protection of the right to remuneration in practice.
On the second day the participants of the round table was attended by the Higher regional court of Berlin and had the opportunity to speak with the Deputy Chairman of the court by Ms. Heike Forkel and presiding judge Mr. Gerald, Budda.
