Senior Partner of the Law Firm "YUST" Yury Pilipenko delivered a report on the subject “Fee policy of advocates “ speaking at the FCA’s inte4rnational conference “Advocacy: assistance or business”.

The conference was held at the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library in Saint Petersburg.

The conference, which was held in the year of the 150^th anniversary of the Russian Bar, was attended by managers and representatives of the Bar of Germany, France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Italy, China, Hong Kong and Japan.

YUST will take part in the Saint Petersburg International Law Forum on June 18-21.

As per tradition, the Law Firm "YUST" will take active part in the Saint Petersburg International Law Forum (PILF) to take place on June 18-21.

Senior Partners of the Firm Andrey Lisitsyn-Svetlanov and Yury Pilipenko will be the Forum’s guests of honor and speakers. A.Lisitsyn-Svetlanov will speak at the financial section dedicated to investments and international projects. Y.Pilipenko will moderate the round table “Standards of the legal profession. Managing legal practice”. The following persons are also among the speakers of the round table:

- Elena Borisenko – Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation,

- Valery Zinchenko – Senior Partner of the Pen&Paper Saint Petersburg Bar Association,

- Akira Kawamura– President of the Association of Arbitrators of Japan,

- Frank Engelman – President of the Regional Chamber of Advocates of Brandenburg.

The participants of the section will discuss the market of legal services in Russia and in the world, will talk about open and closed markets, and will evaluate all the pros and cons.

Evgeny Zhilin, Managing Partner of the Law Firm "YUST"; Partners of the Firm Alexander Bolomatov and Anna Kotova-Smolenskaya; Alexandra Kopievskaya, Head of the PR and Marketing section of the Firm will also take part in the Law Forum.

The Saint Petersburg International Law Forum was founded by the Ministry of Justice of Russia in 2011 and is held with the support from the President of Russia. The PILF is a large platform for dialogue of politicians, lawyers, economists and scientists, who represent all the main economic and legal systems. The last year’s Forum was attended by 2500 participants from 63 countries, including 21 delegations headed by Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Justice.
