The Day of the Russian Bar. Celebration for everyone

The Law Firm "YUST" with the support from the Maxim Gorky Park of Culture and Recreation organizes on the Day of the Russian Bar – May 31 (Friday) – a public reception room at the “Pioner” cinema lot. There, everyone will be entitled to a free qualified advice on legal matters.

Yury Pilipenko, Managing Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", and the Partners of the Firm: Artem Kukin, Alexey Popov, Alexander Bolomatov, Evgeny Zhilin and Anna Kotova-Smolenskaya will also be present at the Day of the Russian Bar.

Each of them will be open for communication and discussion of the most topical legal and related problems.

On May 31, 2002, Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, signed the new Federal Law “On the advocates’ activity and the Bar in the Russian Federation”.
According to Article 1 of that Law, advocates, who receive their status according to a special procedure, render professional qualified legal assistance to individuals and legal entities (principals) for the purpose of protection of their rights, liberties and interests as well as ensuring access to justice.
Within three years of the Law’s enactment, the professional holiday of the advocates was established at the II All-Russian Congress of Advocates. The holiday is celebrated each May 31 by the entire professional community.
