The Fifth Economic Congress Germany-Russia was held in Berlin on August 15. Within the framework of the Congress, YUST took part in the Conference on topical matters of legislation “Law in Russia”

Patrick Pohlit, Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", and Erika Kindsvater, Advocate of the Firm, held a workshop on the subject “Import substitution and localization of production in Russia”. The workshop participants were presented with a survey of topical amendments of the legislation aimed at the import substitution in certain industrial spheres and with an explanation of the terms of investing and project financing in Russia. The matters of participation in government orders, of partnership with companies with public interest, tax advantages of localization of production in Russia, parallel imports etc. were discussed. The workshop participants were especially interested in the resolution of the Government of Russia, which determined the criteria of classification of goods as products manufactured in Russia.
