The major juridical award of Russia - “Femida (Themis)” – was handed to Igor PASTUKHOV, Advocate of the Law Firm “YUST”.

Advocates and lawyers of the Law firm “YUST” participated in the work of the congress of the All-Russia public organization “Association of Lawyers of Russia” that took place on 29 January 2008 in the Hall of Columns of the House of Congresses (Moscow).

The Law firm “YUST” held a corporate New Year’s Eve party for its staff at the “Marriott Royal Aurora” hotel on Wednesday, 26 December 2007.

On 30 August 2007, the Presnensky District Court of the City if Moscow satisfied the claim filed by the International Public Organization “World Russian Popular Council” against the editorial board of the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets” and its journalist S.A. Bychkov, for the protection of the claimant’s business reputation.

On 12 December 2007, the Association of Corporate Attorneys (OKYuR) held a reception in the Ceremonial Hall of the “Forum Hall” to mark the Day of the Constitution of the RF. The Law firm “YUST” was among the sponsors of this event. On 3 December 2007, the Law firm “YUST” was proclaimed winner of the business award “Company of the Year 2007” in the category “Business Reputation.”

On 21 November 2007, lawyers of the Law firm “YUST” Alexander Alexeyevich EVDOKIMOV and Maxim Anatolyevich ROVINSKIY acquired the status of attorneys-at-law.

The Chairman of the Board of the Bar Association of the Moscow Region “Law firm “YUST”, Yu.S. Pilipenko and attorneys of the firm, I.V. Kondrashov and A.V. Popov, participated in an international business conference that took place in Tokyo, Japan, from 2 to 8 November 2007.

The dispute in question arose when CJSC “Neftekhimiya” ceased rendering a number of services, essential to the productive activity of LLC “Samaraorgsintez” that included, apart from the supply and cleaning of railway wagons, services connected with the use of the infrastructure for the receipt, storage and transfer of hydrocarbonaceous raw materials, and also water supply, water diversion and cleansing of residuary waters.
