On 3 December 2007, the Law firm “YUST” was proclaimed winner of the business award “Company of the Year 2007” in the category “Business Reputation.”

On 21 November 2007, lawyers of the Law firm “YUST” Alexander Alexeyevich EVDOKIMOV and Maxim Anatolyevich ROVINSKIY acquired the status of attorneys-at-law.

The Chairman of the Board of the Bar Association of the Moscow Region “Law firm “YUST”, Yu.S. Pilipenko and attorneys of the firm, I.V. Kondrashov and A.V. Popov, participated in an international business conference that took place in Tokyo, Japan, from 2 to 8 November 2007.

The law firm “YUST” offered its staff a wonderful corporate present – an evening in the “Grill House” restaurant.

The dispute in question arose when CJSC “Neftekhimiya” ceased rendering a number of services, essential to the productive activity of LLC “Samaraorgsintez” that included, apart from the supply and cleaning of railway wagons, services connected with the use of the infrastructure for the receipt, storage and transfer of hydrocarbonaceous raw materials, and also water supply, water diversion and cleansing of residuary waters.

The Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit dismissed the claim filed by the Deputy Prosecutor of the City of Moscow against the “Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism” and LLC “Firma Iliev”, thus revoking the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court in part.

On 21 – 23 September the Law firm “YUST” organized a corporate outing for the company staff.

By its resolution of 18.09.2007, the Presidium of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation repealed the resolution of the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit of 02.02.2007 in part concerning the refusal of CJSC “COMSTAR-Direct” to satisfy the application for the acknowledgement as invalid the decision of the District Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for large taxpayers № 7 of 30.03.2006 № 3 regarding additional tax on profit connected with the inclusion into expenses of sums of accumulated depreciation on objects of communication.

The above-mentioned court acts satisfied the declaration of CJSC “Universal Music” and the decision of the tax body was acknowledged as invalid in full.

In its resolution of 11.09.2007, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Moscow Circuit upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow of 29.12.2006 and the resolution of the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court of 05.04.2007 that acknowledged as invalid the decision of the District Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service on large taxpayers № 2 of 23.12.2005 concerning a bringing to book on charges of tax violations.
