Adviser Dmitry Seregin joins the team of the Law Firm "YUST"

Dmitry Seregin, Doctor-at-Law, Senior Lecturer of the Competition Law Chair of the Oleg Kutafin Moscow State University of Law (MSAL), Patent Attorney of Russia, member of the Experts’ Council under the FAS of Russia, started working at the position of Adviser in the Law Firm "YUST" on December 1st of 2014.

Dmitry Seregin successfully conducts judicial proceedings in all court instances in the general jurisdiction system, in courts of arbitration of Russia, in private arbitration, in the Supreme Court of Russia, in the International Court of Commercial Arbitration under the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation, is a certified forensic expert.

Has extensive experience of rendering advice on the matters of application of competition law, of intellectual property, administrative proceedings.

Dmitry Seregin has worked in the Ministry of the Russian Federation on Antimonopoly Policy and Support of Entrepreneurship (currently the Federal Antimonopoly Service) for a long time, and headed the Intellectual Property Department of the Law Firm "YUST" from 2004 till 2009.

Author of publications on the matters of application of civil law, including competition law and protection of intellectual property. Co-author of the teaching book “Competition Law” made by the Oleg Kutafin Moscow State University of Law (MSAL), of the commentary to the Civil Code of Russia (parts III, IV) drawn up by the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Graduate from the Moscow State academy of Law, post-graduate from the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property. Obtained a diploma of improved qualification from the Russian Academy of Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation and a diploma of professional retraining from the Academy of the Peoples' Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation.
