Representatives of the Law Firm “YUST” took part in a session of the International Council for Cooperation and Investments (ICCI) of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE).

On 27 November 2008, the regular meeting of the ICCI was held at the RUIE headquarters, chaired by the RUIE President Alexander Shokhin. The meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the German-Russian Foreign Trade Chamber, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Russia, recently entered by the Law Firm “YUST”, heads of PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Baker & McKenzie, KPMG, Alcoa, Amway, Knauf, Procter & Gamble and many others. The discussion focused on taxation issues faced by foreign companies in Russian market, and on proposals for improvement of legislation on taxes and duties. Summarizing the results of the analysis and the companies’ proposals, the taxation task force will prepare a consolidated list of issues to be considered at the ICCI general meeting.
