The “Labour Disputes” magazine (No. 11, November 2010), which is dedicated to the practice of labour disputes’ settlement, published an article by Rodion Smirnov, a Lawyer at the Law firm "YUST", on the matters of the employee’s civil (property) liability for damages caused to the employer.

Issues of bringing the employee to civil (property) responsibility, of documentation necessary to substantiate the fact of causing damage and to determine the employee’s guilt are analyzed in the article. Examples from court practice are made and a number of recommendations to the employer on how to legally collect the damage compensation from the employee are given in the article.
