Lawyers argue about new system of Federal Tax Service to monitor tax flow

The Federal Tax Service is planning to launch an information system “Tax-3” based on structures of the ministry of Finance, by 2018. It will provide the possibility for full tax administration of individuals and companies, as well as a citizen identification system alternative to civil registry - “uniform ID”.
Partner of YUST Law Firm Alexander Bolomatov told Pravo.ru portal he has no doubt about successful execution of reforms announced by the Federal Tax Service: “The proposed measures may substantially change the picture of tax payments in Russia, it will lead to transfer of a part of tax burden to individuals, who were hardly affected by tax control before.” The expert believes it may substantially change the conscience of citizens: they will understand they are the taxpayers, rather than their abstract employer.
