International Private Law: A Primer.


The book deals with all the basic questions of international private law that are of greatest practical interest. There is a review of legislation, literature, international agreements, court and arbitration rulings in this sphere. The author examines the legal situation of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation, the parties of external economic contacts, citizens and organizations abroad. The book contains an analysis of issues arising frequently in international relations: the rights of private ownership, obligatory law, in the first place regarding international agreements on purchase and sale of goods, compensation for loss, authors’ and patent rights, family and inheritance law, labor law, order of examination of disputes in court and arbitration courts.
