The General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France in Russia (Club France) was held in Pushkin Museum in Moscow on 26 June, 2009. Election to the Administrative Board was held in the course of the General Assembly. Ms. Agnès Lalardrie, Counsellor to the Law Firm “YUST”, has been elected a member of the Administrative Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France in Russia.

On 29 May, 2009, Tatiana Lvova, a lawyer at the Law Firm “YUST”, won the fourth all-Russian youth competition of educational institutions and scientific organizations for the best paper ”My Legislative Initiative”. The competition was organized by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation jointly with National System “Integratsia”.

A reputable international publication Best Lawyers included Artem Kukin, Alexey Popov, and Arthur Rokhlin, advocates at the Law firm “YUST”, in the Best Lawyers list of solicitors for Russia in the specialty of Litigation .

On 14 May, 2009 the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation ruled to satisfy claims filed by OAO “Donskoy Tabak” (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) against Finrep Handels Ges.m.b.H. (Vienna, Austria) to recover amounts due under a loan agreement. OAO “Donskoy Tabak”’s interests at the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation were represented by advocates at the Law firm “YUST”.

On 5 May, 2009, counselor to the Law Firm “YUST” Agnès Lalardrie met with representatives of three French law firms.

On 23 April, 2009, Natalia Gornostay, a lawyer at the Law Firm “YUST”, participated in the Round-Table Meeting arranged by the Russian Corporate Counsel Association (RCCA) on the subject: ”Amendments to the Law on Limited Liability Companies. Dealing with Registering Authorities and Notary Public”.

On 26.03.2009, the Federal Moscow Circuit Arbitration Court repealed the ruling of the Tenth Arbitration Court of Appeal and upheld the ruling of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region. The latter dismissed the claims filed by the institutional lenders of CJSC CB “Olimpiysky” to hold OJSC “Gazprom” jointly liable.

“Novaya Yustitsia” Publishing House has issued a book written by Mikhail Prokopets, a senior lawyer at the Law firm “YUST”, and Denis Rogachev, a legal adviser for the Minister of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy. The book “Soccer Expo: Soccer Agents“ has come out under the auspices of the Law firm “YUST”.

On 3 April, 2009 the Law firm “YUST” took part in the 3 rd annual forum Legal Career Day at the Moscow State Law Academy arranged with support from the Moscow State Law Academy Community of Graduates.
