The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian State Library filed with the Court of Arbitration of the city of Moscow a lawsuit against the Library of the USA Congress and the State of the USA demanding the return of seven rare Judaist books from the Schneerson library. On July 1st of 2013, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian State Library filed with the Court of Arbitration of the city of Moscow a lawsuit against the Library of the USA Congress and the State of the USA demanding the return of seven rare books from the Schneerson library. Yury Pilipenko, Managing Partner of the Law Firm "YUST", signed the statement of claim from the Ministry of Culture under a power of attorney.

The Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Russian State Library filed with the Court of Arbitration of the city of Moscow a claim against the American Library of the Congress and to the country – the USA.
